Boarding at West Mountain Kennels

Our boarding accomodations for your dog are contained in a newly-designed, state-of-the-art facility, completed in 2006.

The same great boarding and resources are available to your dog whether you're a Pawling Mountain Club member or non-member.

Boarding Facility Amenities
At West Mountain, your dog's well-being is our #1 concern, which is why our boarding facility is designed to keep your dog safe, healthy and comfortable. Following are just a few of our facility's amenities:

  • A medical and feed station.
  • A large, fenced-in 30'x40' free-roam play area.
  • Kennels are disinfected daily.
  • Dogs are walked twice daily.
  • We can provide food, or give your dog food of your choosing.
  • Each kennel provides your dog with indoor/outdoor access for freedom of movement.

Medical Requirements
To ensure the health and safety of all dogs boarded with us, we require veterinarian documentation for the following:

  • Up-to-date vaccinations for canine influenza and bordatella.
  • A written statement from a veterinarian attesting to your dog's general good health.

Client Testimonial

"I engaged in considerable research of dog trainers and kennels in Dutchess County and Northwest Connecticut before choosing the services of West Mountain Kennels, and Trainer Ed Larkin.

Ed was more than willing to invite me to the kennels for a comprehensive tour of the facilities and to demonstrate his training techniques on several dogs in the field.

The spotless accomodations, courteous and helpful staff, and Ed's firm but exceedingly gentle and patient approach made my decision easy.

Without a moment's hesitation, I would recommend West Mountain Kennels for all aspects of dog training and boarding."
